Clay Preparation and Shaping
The process begins with the preparation of the clay, which is a mix of materials like quartz, feldspar, and kaolin. The clay is finely ground and mixed with water to form a smooth consistency. Glazing and Painting
After the clay is dried and bisque fired, the pottery is coated with a special glaze, often featuring cobalt oxide to create the signature blue hues.
